How much food can I cook at any one time?

The grill plate can fit up to 12 burgers or 20 sausages. Or mix and match and cook 6 burgers and 6 corn on the cobs. When cooking larger cuts of meat you can comfortably fit 2 x 2.3kg pork shoulders or 2 x 2.5kg whole chickens side by side.

What are the temperature ranges for each setting?

Grill: LOW (200°C), MED (230°C), or HIGH (260°C)
Smoker: 60–210°C
Air Fry: 150–240°C
Roast: 120–220°C

How do I dispose of burnt pellets after a cook cycle?

Pellets may continue to burn after cook time is complete. Do not touch or remove the smoke box until the grill has stopped smoking, pellets have completely burnt out, and the smoke box has cooled. At that point, remove the smoke box and safely discard cooled ash contents. Wood ash is an excellent source of nutrients for plants. To use in your garden, lightly scatter on the soil, or add it to your existing compost.

How long will the pellets burn while cooking?

Pellets will burn for approximately 30-90 minutes.

Is this product dishwasher safe?

The pellet scoop is dishwasher safe. The unit base, grill plate, crisper basket, grease tray, probe and smoke box are not dishwasher safe. Be sure to clean all accessories and the main unit after each use.

Can I batch cook with this unit?

If batch cooking meats, for best results, we recommend in between batches to close the lid and run the programmed function for 2-3 minutes before adding more food. If you are using Woodfire Flavour Technology and would like to run back-to-back smoking sessions, we recommend re-filling the smoke box using the pellet scoop, when half the pellets have burned. DO NOT re-fill more than 1 or 2 times. DO NOT re-ignite pellets.

Can I cook with the lid up?

Yes, only the Grill function allows you to do lid up cooking. NOTE You can not use Woodfire Flavour Technology when cooking with the lid up.
