Will the outside of the cooking system get hot?

Although the outside of the cooking sytem will heat up during the cooking process, the control panel and top grip of the PowePod will remain safe to touch.

Do I have to shake or toss my food while cooking?

Yes. It is important to shake or toss your food for consistent browning and crispiness. For best results, follow the recipe or cooking chart to find out how often you should shake or rotate ingredients while cooking.

Do I need to use oil when air frying?

Place the Crispi Power Pod (with or without adapter) on heat-safe surfaces only. Always use caution when handling as the Ninja CleanCrisp glass containers will get hot during cooking.

When do I use the adapter?

Adapter should be used when cooking with 3.8L container. Note: Do not use adapter when cooking with the 1.4L containers.

When should I use the 3.8L container?

Large batch container is perfect for big batches of food, when entertaining or feeding a family of 4+.

When should I use the 1.4L container?

Small batch container is perfrect for personal size meals, appetizers, or leftovers.

Why is the IE CRISPi different to the US CRISPi?

All Ninja products are developed to meet specific market needs and regulations, which is why certain features may differ from one region to another. Max Crisp in the US version was adapted to Keep Warm in the IE version is due to the different design requirements between these regions.

How do I remove the adaptor?

ALWAYS ensure the appliance has cooled completely before cleaning. Do not immerse the PowerPod in water or any other liquid, or clean the PowerPod in a dishwasher * CleanCrisp Glass Containers: The CleanCrisp glass containers can be washed by hand in hot, soapy water, or in a dishwasher. When handwashing, do not use abrasive cleaning tools and ensure all parts are dried thoroughly after use. Ensure container has cooled to room temperature before placing in water, a sink or dishwasher. * After washing by hand, ensure to thoroughly air dry or towel dry all parts before your next use. * Lids: Lids can be washed by hand or in the top rack of a dishwasher.
