Are all pieces dishwasher safe?

All parts, except for the motor base, are top rack dishwasher safe. Do not wash any part in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.

Do I have to freeze for 24 hours? What happens if I freeze for less time?

We recommend freezing for at least 24 hours to give your tub time to reach the optimal temperature range for processing. Although the CREAMi Deluxe Tubmay hit freezing temperatures before 24 hours is up, it will need to get even colder before it is ready for processing. The unit is designed to process bases that are between -12°C and -20°C. If you freeze your base for less than 24 hours, it may not reach a cold enough temperature for processing, and your output will likely be soft and liquidy.

How do I add mix-ins to my treat?

The MIX-IN program can be used to fold in slices and chunks of mix-ins to your Scoopable outputs. First, after processing your base using one of the other One-Touch Programs, use a spoon to create a 4 cm wide hole that reaches the bottom of the tub. Add mix-ins to the hole in the tub. (During this process, it is OK for the treat to rise above the MAX FILL line, as long as the outer bowl lid can still comfortably close over the tub to process). After adding mix-ins, install the tub on the motor base with outer bowl, paddle, and outer bowl lid assembled, choose the same processing mode as your first program, then run the MIX-IN program.

Are the Deluxe Tubs BPA free?

Yes, the tubs are BPA free.

What can I make if I don't have 24 hours?

You can make a milkshake or customize store-bought ice cream with mix-ins in minutes. To make a milkshake: add 2 1/4 cups of store-bought ice cream to a tub. With a spoon, create a 4 cm wide hole that reaches the bottom of the tub. Add mix-ins to the hole in the tub(optional), then add 3/4 cup of milk. Select FULL and then process using the MILKSHAKE program. To customize store-bought ice cream: scoop 2 1/4 cups of store-bought ice cream into a tub. With a spoon, create a 4 cm-inch wide hole that reaches the bottom of the tub. Add your mix-ins to the hole in the tub. Process using the MIX-IN program.

What does the TOP/FULL/BOTTOM feature do?

'The TOP/FULL/BOTTOM feature refers to the processing mode. You will need to select the processing mode prior to selecting a program. To process the whole Deluxe tub, select FULL. To process just the top half, press TOP. To process the remaining half of the Deluxe Tub, press BOTTOM. Note: For DRINKABLE, only the FULL processing mode is available.
